  7:00AM 10:00PM Tuscola Christmastown   Make a point to visit Tuscola’s Christmastown, December 6th through 8th! This festival includes a vendor fair including many handmade vendors and many at home party vendors. This is a great place to pickup Christmas gifts for those who are hard to shop for ! Our Christmastown event also features 5k Santa Chase beginning at 8am , a Christmas parade begins at 11am. December 7th will conclude with an event at the Vault Art Collective downtown.   9:00AM 5:00PM Children's Holiday Shop with U of I Athletes   The 21st annual Crisis Nursery Children's Holiday Shop will be held December 7th-14th at Lincoln Square in Urbana. Join the holiday tradition! Crisis Nursery’s Holiday Shop is the perfect place for children to do their holiday shopping for everyone on their list, with all gifts priced between $2 and $8. Children shop with the help of a community volunteer so their gifts are a surprise for family and friends.When the children are done picking out their gifts, they pay for them and wrap them in festively decorated bags. As they leave the shop, children are always full of pride with the items they have picked out on their own and an understanding that it is just as great to give as it is to receive!On Saturday, December 7th, kids can shop with the "celebrity" shoppers of the University of Illinois Athletes from 2-5pm.   12:00PM 5:00PM Chris Farris and Eric Hill Benefit   St. Joseph Ogden Spartans classmates, family, and friends will be holding a benefit in support for Chris Farris and Eric Hill who are both fighting cancer. A silent auction, raffles, music, food, and a live auction will all be in part of this benefit to show support and raise money for the families of Chris Farris and Eric Hill. Support these two men by attending the event, which will be held at the American Legion Post 24 at 705 Bloomington Rd in Champaign from 12-5pm on December 7th. Hoffmann tale through imaginative costumes, the choreographic artistry of Deanna Doty, and the splendid interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s timeless score by Sinfonia da Camera under the baton of Maestro Ian Hobson. The creative team of Andy and David Warfel will adorn the Festival stage with fanciful lighting and enchanting set designs that give a delightfully contemporary lift to this classic ballet.
